The stock ST225 intercooler has limited performance capabilities once you start pushing past stock power levels, the way round this is by fitting an uprated intercooler to help keep intake temperatures low, lower intake temps equals more power!

R-Sport offers a full range of ST225 intercoolers from stage 1 through to stage 3 so whatever you power goals, R-Sport has the cooling solution. The stage 3 ST225 intercooler we recommend when pushing over the 400bhp mark, however there are no drawbacks to running it on cars below this level, especially cars fitted with hybrid turbos.

This huge full height intercooler designed and developed between R-Sport and Pumaspeed offers the perfect blend of fantastic value and high performance cooling. It's an straightforward DIY fitment, along with beautifully cast end tanks to keep the air flow smooth and consistent across the massive 770x320x60mm super efficient bar and plate core.

The result of this huge core is very stable charge temperatures, even in the harshest of environments, crucial when pushing big power! Designed for both road and track use in both cold and hot climates, with a more dense fin construction than all other competitors you can be sure you're getting the ultimate affordable intercooler for your car with R-Sport!

So what makes an R-Sport intercooler special and why does it warrant a premium over other 'eBay coolers', put simply it's both the quality of the construction and the engineering put into the design and development phase. The end tanks R-Sport design and produce are second to none and offer both fantastic fitment and improved air flow in and out of the intercooler. Founded in 2010 and focusing on the Ford tuning market, R-Sport has grown into further manufactures whilst maintaining the core business qualities, meaning you as the customer benefit from over 10 years worth of experience selling over 1000 intercoolers a year!

Available in black and silver with a choice of logo colours you can personalise the intercooler to your car, simply leave a note at checkout with your choice of logo colour, if not the default black with no logo will be sent.

Please note: The pre-facelift ST225 has a different radiator compared to the facelift ST225 & the RS Mk2, this makes the left hand cold side pipe (inlet side) very tight against the radiator cradle & boost hose. We recommend removing the radiator cradle bolt, levering the cradle to the right and re-drilling a new hole & then replace bolt. It’s very simple and easy to do, but is necessary to give you extra clearance for the bigger 2.5″ cold side pipe included in this kit. The other alternative is to fit the RS Mk2 radiator for direct fitment. This is not required to get the power you want, just makes cold side hose fit nicer.
