The new generation of Fiesta ST EcoBoost is ripe for tuning straight out of the box. With a completely standard ST running 99 RON fuel we have seen up to 250bhp and 360nm!

With some simple breathing modifications such as aftermarket cat back exhaust and intercooler, our 1R calibration can see even greater figures with up to 255bhp and 380nm on tap, incredible numbers for such a small outlay.

We are currently the only tuning company to offer two different maps in one, switchable via the sport button on the steering wheel. With our unique Push2Pass system, you get the full fat 250bhp and 360nm in Sport and Track modes, plus a slightly more mild 230bhp and 330nm in Normal and Slippery modes.

(PLEASE NOTE FOR SWITCHABLE MAPS THAT FULL POWER IS ONLY PRODUCED WHEN ALL FOUR WHEELS ARE TURNING ie. ON THE ROAD. THE CAR WILL DROP OUT OF SPORT MODE WHEN ON THE DYNO AND BACK INTO A NORMAL MODE WHICH IS ONLY NORMALLY 230BHP)

This MAXD Stage 1R workshop fitted remap is designed to run with the stock catalytic convertor and GPF still in place. It will run a totally stock vehicle or run with additional hardware such as the R-Sport Stage 2 Intercooler and R-Sport Air Filter Kit to produce up to 255bhp (Yes - that's 255 bhp on a stock catalyst!). We recommend high grade fuels only for Pumaspeed R spec maps, however if you only have access to 95 RON fuel, no problem, we can simply offer a slightly milder stage 1 file with a 5-10bhp and 10-15nm reduction to suit the lower quality fuel.

Is it safe for my car?

There are very few remaps on the market today that have this sort or performance and also all the Ford OE built in safety features still included, this calibration has been written from the ground up with the usual development time and road testing done. To get it perfect with no throttle closure we have refined this to Version 107 which is an awful lot of dyno and road miles and many months worth of work. You will not be disapointed with its refinement and factory like smooth torque and power curve. Pumaspeed pride ourselves on offering not only fantastic performance, but also a great reliability record.

We are probably one of the only tuners to have had one of these new 1.5 EcoBoost ST motors apart, and at last Ford have learned some huge lessons from previous EcoBoost engines. Out are the weak and bendy conrods of old and out are the brittle and ringland prone pistons. At last ford have an engine we can punish hard!

Fiesta ST Mk8 tunes available from MAXD:

Stage 1 - Up to 235bhp with no or minimal hardware modifications, designed for 95 RON fuel, smooth progressive low boost factory-like calibration, a perfect addition giving extra drivability and economy.

Stage 1R - Up to 255bhp with no or minimal hardware modifications, designed for 98/99 RON fuel, more aggressive higher torque calibration, a perfect addition giving incredible gains in power, torque and economy.

Stage 2R - Up to 275bhp with minor bolt on hardware upgrades including intercooler, intake and turbo back exhaust. A very well mannered drive with a lovely hit of torque and a smooth progressive lift in power. Dwarfing the competition and giving you the full potential of the standard turbo when used with the full list of simple bolt on parts.

Stage 3R - Up to 315 bhp with the Pumaspeed X47 hybrid turbo and all available bolt on hardware. The most powerful hybrid turbo mapping available with total reliability day-to-day, and perfect low rev manners, with almost 50 turbos sold world wide, you are in great company with this setup.

Valet Mode - Available on request to limit the vehicle to minimal performance, ideal if you're leaving your car in the care of somebody else.

Immobiliser Mode - Available on request to completely kill the cars ability to start and run, perfect for if you're leaving your car for a long period of time.

Stock - MAXD have a database of stock original equipment files, these are available on request.

Can I upgrade my maps to a higher level at a later date?

Yes, one of the main benefits of the flash programmer system is that MAXD can easily send you upgraded files from the above list as you upgrade the hardware to suit at a small surcharge.

What is the process and how long does the Fiesta ST Mk8 1R remap take?

You plug into your vehicles OBD port and read the stock ECU data and email it over to us, we then update your specific ECU data with the new MAXD Stage 1R and email you it back, usually within 48 hours. You then import this updated file back into your ECU via the OBD port and enjoy your new found power and torque!

Can I use the device on more than one vehicle?

No the MAXD flash programmer device locks itself to your vehicles identification number and cannot be used on another vehicle.

What happens to my stock remap?

Once you read your stock file via the MAXD flash programmer, we advise you save this to the memory stick provided and/or your desktop. This can then be used to at anytime return your car to the stock mapping for any reason such as warranty purposes etc.

What's after the Stage 1 Remap?

We have a Stage 2 remap that has been developed specifically for use with many other hardware modifications such as the R-Sport air filter kit and R-Sport intercooler, plus downpipe and exhaust system. The more powerful Stage 2 remap will max out all the breathing and exhaust modifications, and push the standard turbo as far as we believe is safe for this very small unit (around 275 bhp).
