M2 (S58)
BMW began to deliver the S58 M2 in late 2022, early 2023 in the UK and we were very eager to get our hands on one. The natural progression from our track destroying M240i.
We wasted no time in getting our new M2 over to MAXD HQ for some fettling, but the process is slightly different with BMWs delivered from 2020 onwards featuring a brand new ECU which requires unlocking before programming can commence. Pumaspeed can cater for this service and provide a service where we ship your ECU to Femto for unlocking.
That's exaclty what we did with our own vehicle before transporting it over to MAXD HQ for programming, where we saw an unbelievable figure from a Stage 1 calibration ONLY! Using 99RON fuel and a completely stock car (with the exception of some Xeno Carbon goodies!). Below you will find a dyno graph for that run:
As you can see there are some extremely health gains to be had, even with no hardware, and the car drives like a dream. We've even taken the car to a slightly damp Oulton Park for some track testing, and boy did she perform!
